Our 2.4 ministry is collecting cereal and breakfast food for the homeless in Minneapolis. We will be collecting: Honeynut Cheerios, Honey Bunches of Oats, Frosted Mini Wheats, Corn Flakes, Old Fashioned Oatmeal (not instant), raisins, and brown sugar.

We often use the word helper to describe someone who is well-meaning but not that powerful, like the sidekick to a superhero. But when Jesus told His disciples in John 16:7 that He was sending a helper, He was promising someone so much more than a sidekick! The Holy Spirit is the very fullness of God—fully powerful, fully wise, fully loving. The Holy Spirit is God, and just as Jesus promised, the Holy Spirit is with us! In this series, we’ll see the Holy Spirit work through Paul, move in prison-breaking power, help us pray, and unite the church. The Holy Spirit isn’t merely a sidekick; He is God, our helper!

Coaches help their teams by guiding them towards good decisions. They create the strategy, put together a game plan, and send their players out to make it happen. Wouldn't it be nice for someone to do that for all of our decisions? Thankfully, God gives us wisdom whenever we feel like we could use a good coach. In this 4-week series from Proverbs and the Epistles, we'll learn more about the wisdom God offers us whenever we want to make godly decisions. We'll see that wise people practice what God has said and share what God has given them. We'll also look at how the Holy Spirit helps wise people follow God’s guidance and how wise people's words show God's love.

Throughout the arc of God’s big story, we see God at work executing a rescue plan to bring His people from slavery to freedom, death to life. During the Easter season, we remember that God’s own Son, Jesus Christ, came once and for all, offering the way into God’s presence by way of His life and His blood. In this five-lesson series, we’ll walk through what it looks like for God to show up, promise His presence, and make the way where there was none. We will connect the long journey of God’s people from slavery to freedom, from Moses and the Israelites in Egypt to the death and resurrection of Jesus. Jesus is alive, and because of Him, we can transition from slavery to freedom, from death to life—now those are connections worth celebrating!

Be it for a birthday, an achievement, or a new chapter of life, parties give us a reason to gather, laugh, and create new memories together. And if we really stopped to look around, we'd find so many reasons to celebrate what's happening in our lives that the parties would never stop. In this 6-week series, we'll see what it's like when we celebrate all that God has done through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. We'll celebrate that with Jesus, everyone’s invited, and we'll celebrate who Jesus is. Then, we'll see how we're invited to remember what Jesus has done, let Jesus make us new, follow the Holy Spirit's lead, and how Jesus invites us to invite others.

COLLECTING DONATIONS MAY 4 - 18
Our 2.4 ministry is collecting cereal and breakfast food for the homeless in Minneapolis. We will be collecting: Honeynut Cheerios, Honey Bunches of Oats, Frosted Mini Wheats, Corn Flakes, Old Fashioned Oatmeal (not instant), raisins, and brown sugar.

Throughout the arc of God’s big story, we see God at work executing a rescue plan to bring His people from slavery to freedom, death to life. During the Easter season, we remember that God’s own Son, Jesus Christ, came once and for all, offering the way into God’s presence by way of His life and His blood. In this five-lesson series, we’ll walk through what it looks like for God to show up, promise His presence, and make the way where there was none. We will connect the long journey of God’s people from slavery to freedom, from Moses and the Israelites in Egypt to the death and resurrection of Jesus. Jesus is alive, and because of Him, we can transition from slavery to freedom, from death to life—now those are connections worth celebrating!

This will be a show that focuses on the reptiles and amphibians that call Minnesota and Wisconsin home. The audience will get to watch a salamander eat, debunk turtle myths, touch snakes, and more! There will be a tiger salamander, 1-2 native turtles, 3-4 native snakes, and 2-4 exotic reptiles (just for fun). A large boa constrictor will also make an appearance! You can register online!

Be it for a birthday, an achievement, or a new chapter of life, parties give us a reason to gather, laugh, and create new memories together. And if we really stopped to look around, we'd find so many reasons to celebrate what's happening in our lives that the parties would never stop. In this 6-week series, we'll see what it's like when we celebrate all that God has done through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. We'll celebrate that with Jesus, everyone’s invited, and we'll celebrate who Jesus is. Then, we'll see how we're invited to remember what Jesus has done, let Jesus make us new, follow the Holy Spirit's lead, and how Jesus invites us to invite others.

This will be a show that focuses on the reptiles and amphibians that call Minnesota and Wisconsin home. The audience will get to watch a salamander eat, debunk turtle myths, touch snakes, and more! There will be a tiger salamander, 1-2 native turtles, 3-4 native snakes, and 2-4 exotic reptiles (just for fun). A large boa constrictor will also make an appearance!

And if we really stopped to look around, we'd find so many reasons to celebrate what's happening in our lives that the parties would never stop. In this 6-week series, we'll see what it's like when we celebrate all that God has done through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. We'll celebrate that with Jesus, everyone’s invited, and we'll celebrate who Jesus is. Then, we'll see how we're invited to remember what Jesus has done, let Jesus make us new, follow the Holy Spirit's lead, and how Jesus invites us to invite others.

In this 4-week series from the New Testament and Prophets, we'll wonder about what it might look like to be a part of making a difference as we explore questions like what if God wants you to meet someone’s needs, rest, help others heal, or make wrong things right?

Teams prepare and serve a hot breakfast every morning (365 days a year!) to those who are experiencing homelessness and are in need in downtown Minneapolis. They serve about 50 people every day. As we grow closer to God, we realize that God asks us to do something similar—to look through the hurt, pain, and evil in the world and wonder what it might look like for things to be different. In this 4-week series from the New Testament and Prophets, we'll wonder about what it might look like to be a part of making a difference as we explore questions like what if God wants you to meet someone’s needs, rest, help others heal, or make wrong things right?

These I AM statements reveal the nature of Jesus and His heart for people, helping us know Him more: “I am the bread of life” (John 6:35), “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6), “I am the vine” (John 15:5), and “I am the Alpha and Omega” (Revelation 21:6). In this series, we will discover that the I AMs are more than just statements; they help us know how we can respond to Jesus and know Him more deeply as our life-giver, our way to God, our source of abiding, our beginning and end.

Who is Jesus? He is the exact likeness of God—the physical representation of God on earth. As a child and later as an adult, Jesus shows us what God is like. This series will help us understand Jesus and who He is. He is the Messiah, and God the Father speaks words of affirmation at His baptism. When Jesus is led into the wilderness and His humanity is put on display, He is tempted and does not sin. Through His first miracle, we see Jesus reveal to His followers that He is amazing. The more we know Him, the more we know God, and the more we are drawn to Him.
