KIDS COORDINATOR
Part time - 15 hours/week
POSITION SCOPE & SUMMARY
The Kids Coordinator is a leadership role in the organization and ministry of Grace Fellowship. The Kids Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Kids Pastor in planning, organizing, and growing the Kids Ministry at
Grace Fellowship. The position is on the Grace Kids Team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead and manage Sunday mornings, weekly tasks, and Family Ministry events. The accountabilities for this position are:
• Shepherd children and volunteers toward a discipled relationship with Jesus
• Recruit and train volunteers, elevating and delegating into leadership
• Strategically build ministries through development, planning and organizing
• Promote ministry opportunities using all available avenues
COMPETENCIES
Leader: Model leadership excellence, pursue personal and professional leadership development, be responsible and accountable for representing Grace Fellowship. Collaboratively work with leadership and staff. Support the overall ministry of Grace Fellowship by participating in outreach events, weekend worship and other all-church experiences.

Develop Teams: Raise up and train people to serve. With the Weekend Experience Team, plan and execute opportunities for leadership training, discipleship, and recognition.
Communication: Exercise consistent and effective communication across staff and volunteers. Promote and
model direct conversation, over-communication of information, and fact-checking assumptions.
Ministry Development: Create, plan, and execute ministries that support the Proven Process: Know God, Find Friends, Discover Purpose and Make a Difference.
Measurement: Consistently track the Kids Ministry data and report to the Weekend Experience Team.
Financial Accountability: Annually, create and submit a budget and execute the ministry within the budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Associate degree and/or related training in ministry
Experience
• Experience leading volunteers in a ministry
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ, evidenced by action, attitude, and behavior
• Fully embracing the vision, values, and Grace Fellowship’s Statement of Faith
• Ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteers
• Skilled organizer/leader/recruiter of volunteers and evidence of building teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong relational abilities
• Expertise in curriculum and child development
• Takes on multiple challenges/assignments
• Self-motivated
