In the Gospel of John and the book of Revelation, Jesus makes statements about Himself that reveal who He is and what He came to do. These I AM statements reveal the nature of Jesus and His heart for people, helping us know Him more: “I am the bread of life” (John 6:35), “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6), “I am the vine” (John 15:5), and “I am the Alpha and Omega” (Revelation 21:6). In this series, we will discover that the I AMs are more than just statements; they help us know how we can respond to Jesus and know Him more deeply as our life-giver, our way to God, our source of abiding, our beginning and end.

High Five's February Family Night will be a special night of encouragement for parents!  We will have a special speaker, Kayla Alonzo, coming to talk to us about Playful Discipleship as well as worship with our own Sally Abel! In this 4-week series from the Gospels, we'll explore what it means to follow Jesus and look at the life he invites us into. We'll see how we can trust Jesus is with us, how Jesus gives us peace, that we can trust Jesus loves us, and how Jesus gives us a place to belong.

Join us for our Big Game Night at 6 PM! The event will go to the end of the Super Bowl (Somewhere between 9 and 10 PM), but parents can pick up their students at any time. The application for the Youth Missions Trip is now open for high school students! There are only 22 spots available for students. Who is Jesus? He is the exact likeness of God - the physical representation of God on earth. As a child and later as an adult, Jesus shows us what God is like. This series will help us understand Jesus and who He is. He is the Messiah, and God the Father speaks words of affirmation at His baptism. When Jesus is led into the wilderness and His humanity is put on display, He is tempted and does not sin. Through His first miracle, we see Jesus reveal to His followers that He is amazing. The more we know Him, the more we know God, and the more we are drawn to Him.

4TH & 5TH GRADE SMALL GROUPS

ICE SKATING

TUES, JAN 14  //  7 PM  //  CENTRAL PARK, MAPLE GROVE

Join us at the Central Park Ice Skate Loop in Maple Grove for a fun night of ice skating! You can bring your own skates, or you can rent them from inside the warming house. Skate rental is $8 a pair. If you let us know ahead of time, we can cover that cost for you. There are also snacks and drinks if you would like to purchase them. Please dress in warm clothing. This series will help us understand Jesus and who He is. He is the Messiah, and God the Father speaks words of affirmation at His baptism. When Jesus is led into the wilderness and His humanity is put on display, He is tempted and does not sin. Through His first miracle, we see Jesus reveal to His followers that He is amazing. The more we know Him, the more we know God, and the more we are drawn to Him.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. So we thought this would be a perfect opportunity to tell you about a great option you have this year for turkey! Our famous Dry Bones BBQ, in partnership with Jellybean and Julia's, is running a smoked turkey drive. Our Dry Bones team serves our community with free food outreaches yearly. This Drive will help the team in their goal of everyone experiencing Grace while creating margin to love on our community. We will only have around 45 Turkeys, that will be around 12 lbs. each and the donation ask is $50. They will be packaged with instructions on how to reheat and serve. We ask that you pre-order online and if you want any more information, come talk to us in the commons on Sunday!

The Rooted Experience book is the foundational beginning of this series and should be taken first. The Story of God is book 2 in the rhythms of faith series. This book takes us on an Epic Journey through the Bible using the 7 rhythms. It follows after the Rooted Experience book. Register Online.
