The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Each shoebox is filled with toys, gifts, and personal items to bless a child somewhere around the world. Shoeboxes and information are available in the commons. Pick up any time before Nov 18. Join us in the gym after either service for a fun-filled afternoon celebrating friends, food and fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in our community, enjoy delicious pizza, and indulge in some tasty pies! Bring your friends and family and let's make some great memories together! We can't wait to see you there!
DRY BONES - TURKEY DRIVE FUNDRAISER
PICKUP NOV 26 // 3 - 6 PM
November is here and we're sure most of you have been dreaming of that Thanksgiving meal and all its deliciousness. It's okay, we get it, we certainly have! So we thought this would be a perfect opportunity to tell you about a great option you have this year for turkey! Our famous Dry Bones BBQ, in partnership with Jellybean and Julia's, is running a smoked turkey drive. Our Dry Bones team serves our community with free food outreaches yearly. This Drive will help the team in their goal of everyone experiencing Grace while creating margin to love on our community. We will only have around 45 Turkeys, that will be around 12 lbs each and the donation ask is $50. They will be packaged with instructions on how to reheat and serve. We ask that you pre-order online and if you want any more information, come talk to us in the commons on Sunday!

Taken from their homes and relocated to foreign places, God’s people find themselves in strange and unusual situations as exiles with different customs, languages, and ways of worship. Even in peculiar lands, God’s people are never alone. He is always working behind the scenes. Sometimes He even shows up on the scene to speak to His messengers and give aid in perilous times. This series will explore how God works, calls, protects, and stays with His people. God’s promise to never leave His people rings true even for us today.

In this series, we’ll dive into the victorious stories of Deborah and Barak, David, Elisha and Naaman, and Elisha and an army of angels. Who will you share these exciting stories of God’s victory with?

This Fall we will be changing our Wednesday night program from AWANA to our brand new High Five Nights. We will be using a curriculum called High Voltage which is biblically sound, scripture driven, and application based. Each Wednesday, there will be interactive games, object lessons, small group discussion, scripture memorization, prayer, and gym time! We will also have Family Nights the last Wednesday of each month. Our goal in this change is for our kids to be able to invite their friends, that Wednesday nights will be open to our community, and that families will be strengthened in the process.

2.4 MINISTRY - FEEDING THE HOMELESS
PEANUT BUTTER & SERVING
Our 2.4 Ministry Team prepares and serves breakfast in downtown Minneapolis every day of the year.
PEANUT BUTTER DONATIONS NEEDED
The team makes sandwiches for people to take with them. They are currently looking for PB donations. Donations can be placed in the bin near the elevator.
Other donations: Boxes of cereal (Corn Flakes, Honey Crunches & Oats, Shredded Mini Wheats, Cheerios), Raisins, White or Brown Sugar, and Oatmeal (Old - Fashioned).
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTIES
Join the team. Come check it out! The team meets at Harbor Lights Salvation Army to prepare and serve breakfast. Typically this can be done before your work day starts. Volunteers help one day a week or more. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Rich.

God’s faithfulness remains even as people display unfaithfulness to Him. It isn’t long before sin takes over the world. God is saddened by this change in the way people relate to Him and each other. Through the life of Noah, God shows He honors those who do what is right, and He is faithful to bring Isaac and Rebekah together so His chosen people can grow. When His people are oppressed, God sends help and lets them know they are His, and when God gives the Law, He shows that His people are set apart. In this series, we’ll celebrate that God is the faithful God who will always be faithful to His people!

Our kids and youth ministries are throwing a Family Picnic. We will be grilling hotdogs and hamburgers. There will also be games and bouncy houses! If you are planning on attending this event please bring a side dish or dessert to share. There is a sign-up down in the Kids area.
NEW WED NIGHT PROGRAM

This Fall we will be changing our Wednesday night program from AWANA to our brand new High Five Nights. We will be using a curriculum called High Voltage which is biblically sound, scripture driven, and application based. Each Wednesday, there will be interactive games, object lessons, small group discussion, scripture memorization, prayer, and gym time! We will also have Family Nights the last Wednesday of each month. Our goal in this change is for our kids to be able to invite their friends, that Wednesday nights will be open to our community, and that families will be strengthened in the process.

We are going to have a fun night with food and games! We will have hotdogs, chips, drinks, and ice cream. We will also have some yard games to play, but please feel free to bring some of your own if you want to! There is not a registration, so you can just come on by. Anyone over 18 who considers themself to be a young adult is welcome!
