It's a new year and a fresh start. Why not check out a Small Group if you're not in one already! We have small groups for all ages and stages of life, from 4th Grade to retirement. You can find a day and location and the group dynamics that work best for you.

Grace Moms is launching in January! This group will start meeting twice a month. Gather for encouragement, speakers, and hanging out with like minded women. 30 SECOND THEOLOGY

Get ready... 30 Second Theology is back! This is a day much anticipated by football fans nationwide as well as a morning of inspiration and fun for this Grace family. Learning about Jesus through funny and touching game day commercials. You will be pumped up for a fantastic morning!

And Grace Kids is planning an amazing morning of Sports Sunday! Sharing the good news of the love of Jesus in a fun and relatable way! Bring a friend and wear your favorite sports attire.

NEW SERIES - Starting this Sunday, this series titled Beloved will teach us how to find our identity in Christ. Middle School meets at 9 AM & High School meets at 10:30 AM.

WINTER RETREAT - It's time for our favorite weekend of the year! Come and get fired up about Jesus! Pastor TJ & your adult leaders will take Middle & High Schoolers to Camp Lebanon Feb 10-12. It's a unique opportunity to experience God and build friendships. Register Here

SMALL GROUPS - This is a great time to join a group and start your new year with community! Our small groups meet on Wed nights and are split by grade and gender and Middle School meets at church while High School meets in homes near church. This season will be a great one to solidify new friendships you're building and digging deeper into your faith. Sign up if you're brand new to groups!

KIDS NEWS

NEW SERIES - Starting this Sunday, this series titled Pet Rocks will teach us the foundations of following Jesus. Grace Kids is for 0-5th Grade and meets at both 9 & 10:30 AM.

4TH & 5TH GROUPS - Sun, Jan 8 from 6-7:30 PM in room 134. We are so excited for what God has in store for us in 2023! Invite a friend and come ready to have an awesome night of worship, community, prayer, & diving deeper into the word of God! Contact Pastor Jenn if you would like to sign up to bring a snack!

FAMILY BOARD GAME NIGHT - Sun, Jan 22 from 6-8 PM in the gym. Bring the whole family and your favorite board game and escape the winter cold! Concession snacks are available and all donation proceeds go towards Grace Kids Missions.

CHILD DEDICATIONS - Sun, Jan 29 in both main services. This is a celebration for families who commit to raise their children to know and love Jesus! The Grace congregation also commits to supporting the family in this journey. Children can be any age when they are dedicated. Register online

BIBLE TRIVIA - Sun, Jan 29 and every 5th Sunday! The theme for trivia is parables, the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John), and Exodus. Questions will be posted the week before on Facebook and printed on Sun, Jan 22.

In the New Year, we are all back together for church on Sun, Jan 8!
Grace Kids will be kicking off a new series called Pet Rocks. This series teaches kids about building a strong foundation in faith. Grace Kids is for ages 0-5th grade and is available at both 9 & 10:30. There is also a free, fun, family event coming up on Jan 22 - join us for a board game night!
Grace YTH will be starting a series called Beloved. Students will be learning more about their identity that comes from the love of God. It is also time for youth students to get signed up for the small groups relaunch on Jan 18 and the Winter Retreat. Winter Retreat is happening Feb 10-12 and is a weekend away with tons of fun and amazing God moments! Grace YTH is for students in 6-12 grade. On Sundays, Middle School meets at 9 and High School meets at 10:30.
In Big Service, Pastor Joe is starting a new series called Momentum For Life. It's all about prioritizing the builds to a better you. Jan 8th will also be a Baptism Celebration. So if you have made Jesus the Lord and leader of your life, take the next step by getting baptized. You can get the details and sign up for baptism online.

Then Papa Panovich believes he hears Jesus speaking to him, telling him that He will visit him tomorrow. All the next day, while looking longingly for Jesus, Panovich stops to help so many and is surprised at the end of the day how Scripture was woven in it.

They feed breakfast to people experiencing homelessness 365 days of the year. 2.4 means that volunteers are giving 10% of their day to serve others. It's time to pack Christmas presents in shoeboxes for children around the world! The boxes are filled with toys, hygiene & school supplies, and more. They also include a story book that tells kids all about Jesus. This is a great serving opportunity to do as a family or as a small group.
To get started, pick up info and a box near the entrances and fill the box with gifts. Then bring the shoebox to Grace during Nov 13-20. You can even be notified on which country your box is going to! See more info here!

First, a Family Movie Night that starts at 6 PM in the gym. The movie is Sing 2 and there will be concessions available - all proceeds go to Grace Kids Missions! Come in your jammies and bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.
Second, for all the students in grades 6-12, there will be an amazing prayer & worship night in the youth room. A time to truly worship and seek God with your small group. Hope you can make it to our big night!

This team is called Days For Girls because their work helps give time and days back into the lives of women who would otherwise have to skip work or school because of their period. This team creates reusable pads & hygiene kits that are distributed to places where it is hard to access or buy these period products. Volunteers help trace patterns, cut fabric, sew, & assemble kits. No experience is needed, Cathy Gardner & the team will teach you. Hope you can make it!

In the main service, a new 7 week series called BLESS is beginning. For this series, everyone will get a free devotional book and is invited to join a small group. BLESS long sleeved t-shirts are for sale in the commons!

For Youth, its time for the annual Color Wars! Happening at the 10:45 service only. Grades 6-12 will come together for the best event to start the school year! Wear WHITE so the colored powder shows! MON, SEPT 12 / ROOM 268 / 6:30 PM
This team is called Days For Girls because their work helps give time and days back into the lives of women who would otherwise have to skip school or work because of their period. This team creates reusable pads & hygiene kits that are distributed to developing countries where it is hard to access or buy these products. Volunteers help trace patterns, cut fabric, sew, & assemble kits. No experience is needed, the team will teach you. Hope you can make it!

Major Lessons from the Minor Prophets Week 2. Guest Speaker, Tim Magnuson teaching from the book of Zechariah.
We are going to explore 2 weeks of the Minor Prophets. There are 12 short books at the end of the Old Testament from Prophets of Israel. These books from Prophets have been dubbed "the Minor Prophets" not because they are of less importance than the Major ones, but only because their books are much shorter than those from the other Old Testament writers.

The week where our students, ages 5 through 12th grade, graduate to the next class!
Incoming Kinders will check in and be dropped off in the Kindergarten/1st grade room. (Room 137)
Incoming 6th graders will start by checking into Grace Kids at the 9 AM service, receive a gift, and then Pastor Jenn will walk them down to the N Worship Center to join the Middle School service with Pastor TJ. The middle schoolers ONLY meet at 9 AM.
9th graders will now start attending the 10:45 AM High School service!

COMMUNION SUNDAY
This Sunday we will remember Jesus by taking Communion together. Communion is the remembrance of His sacrifice for us and a celebration that He will come again. If you are joining us in-person, be sure to take the elements of pre-packaged juice and cracker before you enter the Worship Center. We have gluten free crackers available.
If you are joining us online, we encourage you to plan ahead and prepare your own elements before you turn on the service at home.

Have you ever thought about being a small group leader? Now is your chance! We have new groups launching this fall and we are looking for new leaders. Groups typically meet weekly and the leader helps everyone stay connected and facilitates the meeting time. Mark your calendar for Fall Kick Off! This will be a big day with so many fun things planned for all ages. In the main service, we are starting the new BLESS series. For this series, everyone will get a devotional book and is invited to join a small group. For Youth, we are planning the annual Color Wars! For Kids, there is a Foam Party! And for everyone, there are donuts! We are bringing back the great big donut buffet!
Start by praying for who you will invite and watch for more details!

Surfs Up August Series - Grace Kids is learning about the life of Jonah in the month of August. Follow along with a family Bible reading plan that is found on the August calendar.

Move Up Sunday - August 28. The day that 5 year olds through 5th grade move to a new classroom!
Incoming Kinders will check in and be dropped off in the Kindergarten/1st grade room. (Room 137)
Incoming 6th graders will start by checking into Grace Kids at the 9 AM service, receive a gift, and then Pastor Jenn will walk them down to the N Worship Center to join the Middle School service with Pastor TJ. The middle schoolers ONLY meet at 9 AM.
Birth thru 4 year olds will Move Up to the next classroom on their birthdays.

AWANA - Registration is open from Aug 28 - Sept 14. AWANA is a Wed night discipleship program that starts on Sept 21 and goes through the school year! We are excited and ready for you this year! Check out the website for details.

Youth Service is back in the N Worship Center - We are coming back together earlier than we thought! As a reminder, Middle School is meeting at 9 AM and High School is meeting at 10:45 AM. The message series for August is called Transforming Tomorrow. Can't wait to see you!

Last Youth Summer Fire - August 14 from 6:30-8 PM. We are seeing the Holy Spirit move through the youth group in a mighty way. At Summer Fire, we learn about the Holy Spirit while building community.

Women's Fall Kick Off - Yeehaw! Women's Roundup is on Mon, Aug 29 from 6:30-8 PM. This event will be a great opportunity to meet new friends, discover small groups and reconnect after the summer! We'll be creating a fun make-n-take that you won't want to miss. For women post high school age and up. Sign up today!

Grace Recovery - Meets on Tuesdays @ 7 PM in the youth room - enter door 6
We are a faith based, solution focused 12-step group. Grace Recovery is open to all. Any addiction or hardship that you are recovering from.
