We are bringing the love out into our communities and we have opportunities for all of you to help out! Bring your family, friends, & small group and come walk in the summer parades! We will be in the Father Hennepin parade in June and the Maple Grove parade in July. All volunteers get a sweet t-shirt and will have tons of fun. You can sign up on Sunday's connect card or online.

FATHER'S DAY
SUN, JUNE 18
Father's Day is coming up and we have something extra fun planned for all the men. It's a meat raffle! All adult men that come to church that morning will receive a raffle ticket. We will pull winners during each service! Bring your dads and all the men in your life to church on Father's Day!

YOUTH NEWS
SUNDAY SERIES - June means BIG SUMMER BLOWOUT. A month-long competition series where everyone will be on a team. You can earn points by wearing your team color, winning games, bringing guests, bringing your Bible, and more! Middle School meets at 9 AM & High School meets at 10:30 AM.

1ST WEDNESDAY - Hey! We want to see you this summer! Join us for a super fun event on June 7 & August 2 from 6:30-8 PM. We also want to welcome the upcoming 6th graders to attend so we can get to know them before the fall!

FIRE NIGHTS - Sun, June 11 from 6:30-8 PM. A night for students who are hungry for more of God. We want to see Him move in our lives and others. Join us for prayer and worship around the fire. Upcoming dates: June 11 & 29, July 9 & 30, August 13 & 27.

YOUTH CAMP - Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join us at summer camp! It is a super fun week at Lake Geneva where we have a blast learning more about Jesus. Register today!

KIDS NEWS
SUNDAY SERIES - Our summer series titled Beneath the Surface will take us into the deep sea to discover God's word! Each week, we will learn about a different sea animal and their characteristics. Grace Kids is for 0-5th Grade and meets on Sundays at both 9 & 10:30 AM.

SUMMER FUN DAYS! - Grace Kids is meeting up for some fun this summer! Join us at these events:
June 8 - Lunch with Grace Kids staff! At the Brooklyn Park Chick-Fil-A at Noon.
June 21 - Como Zoo day! Meet at 10 AM at the front gate.
July 11 - Let's go to the movies! Champlin Mann Theater, time and movie to be announced soon.

VBS VOLUNTEER MEETING - Sun, June 21 from 6-7:30 in the kids large group room. This meeting is for all the volunteers, our Knights team! We want to be completely ready for the best week of the summer, so mark your calendars and we'll see you there.

SERVE CAMP - SAVE THE DATE! August 8-10. Our current 3rd-5th graders are invited to participate in a week of showing agape love and serving our community. Day camp will start at Grace with daily devotions and have lunch and service projects together. Registration and more details to come!

SUPER HEROES. May 7 - 28. Pastor Monti is finishing up this series by comparing our favorite fictional super heroes to real life heroes & situations.

COMMUNION SUNDAY
Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us so that we could be in right relationship with God. Communion is a time to collectively reflect and say thank you. We use crackers and grape juice to symbolize Jesus' body and blood that were broken and shed for us.
If you are joining us in-person, be sure to take the elements of juice and cracker before you enter the Worship Center. We have gluten-free crackers available.
If you are joining us online, we encourage you to plan ahead and prepare your own elements before you turn on the service.

WHAT ABOUT CLASS
What questions do you have about faith and about God? This is a safe space to ask, especially if you are new or newer to your relationship with God. This class is held weekly, no need to register. Join us in the Fireside room at 10:30 AM. This class will take a break over the summer months and restart in the fall.

MAY MISSIONS CHALLENGE - For the rest of the month of May, we are raising money to support Imara International! The 4th & 5th graders learned about this during their May small groups. They wanted to challenge the rest of Grace Kids to help raise more funds. We're trying to raise $500 so that we can give 50 CHICKENS! Each chicken costs $10 and has so many benefits for this community at a small cost from us.
So far, we have raised $120.24! You can give on the next 2 Sundays, or you can do it online today - GIVE HERE

We have an amazing Recovery group that meets every Tuesday. Recovery isn't just about chemical addiction, it's about overcoming your struggle or hang ups in your life. During the services, we will celebrate God's goodness throughout the last year. And we will take a look at the upcoming year. After the 2nd service, everyone is invited to stay for the business meeting. The members will be voting on the new budget at this time.

Easter is here! We are alive and free because Jesus is alive! Come worship with us and hear a message to start the new series: Didn’t See It Coming. Pastor Joe will be using a physics illustration on stage – how cool is that?!

Catch that family photo before each service with the photo booth & the Easter Bunny. Fresh Coffee & Donuts will be in the commons for you as you catch up with friends and family. Check out the other fun things happening for kids and youth below!

Kids (Birth - 5th Grade)

Programming in both services | 9 & 10:30 AM

Grace kids is celebrating Easter at the same time as main service. We will be finishing up our series that morning, The Road To Easter, where we are learning about the events in Jesus’ life during Holy Week. On Sunday we celebrate the Risen King!

Grade school ages will be in the gym going through interactive Easter stations as they reflect and learn about the importance of this day. Preschoolers will be doing hands on activities in their classroom as they learn about Jesus being Risen.

Youth (6th-12th Grade)

Middle School Service at 9 AM (6th-8th Grade) | High School Service at 10:30 AM (9th-12th Grade)

A special Easter service just for our students with worship and a message titled, Unless. Jesus’ disciple Thomas did not believe that Jesus was alive until he could see tangible proof. How does Jesus respond to him and us when we have doubts?

For all kids 0-5th Grade / Pick up in the commons

*The weather isn’t cooperating… the outdoor egg hunt has turned into a DIY EGG HUNT! There are bags packed with eggs and ready to hand out on Sunday after each service. You can take the home and hide them around your house (which is dry, warm, and not muddy) or just let the kids dig in!

It's a new year and a fresh start. Why not check out a Small Group if you're not in one already! We have small groups for all ages and stages of life, from 4th Grade to retirement. Groups typically meet once a week for faith discussions, prayer, and some good ole fun! Head to the website to see a full list of available groups. Grace Moms is launching in January! This group will start meeting twice a month. Gather for encouragement, speakers, and hanging out with like minded women. This month, we are serving a hot meal at the Simpson Shelter on Fri the 20th instead of the 2nd Friday of the month.
